Stretch & Flow - Dance Based Fitness
Inspired by contemporary dance practice, this course will take you through a full embodied workout and journey to discovering a deeper connection with your body.

Each session will start with a gentle warm up then we'll get stuck into learning some exercises aimed to mobilise, stretch and strengthen different parts of our bodies. We will learn these together and work on them for 3 sessions before learning some new ones and progressing as we build flow.

We will then get creative but don’t worry! It’s not scary because we will use what we have been working on in class and create a short piece of movement together as a group. This will happen over a few sessions and we will work on what we have built and get the opportunity to develop and explore our musicality, rhythm and choreography.

We will then cool down and flow through some simple stretches to finish the class.

Over the course, you will develop a deeper understanding of movement and connection with your body, which will come in handy in all aspects of day-to-day life bringing you a new sense of awareness.
